Sake lees red vinegar “Akane” – 酒粕赤酢 朱音 – 300ml

This is delicious vinegar handmade in wooden barrels.

Manufactured in Mie Prefecture, Sake lees are aged for three years and red sake lees are used as raw materials in wooden barrels.
The surface fermentation method, which takes about 70 days, is used to create this red vinegar which has an abundant power of sake lees and a richer flavor.

This is recommended for sushi rice, vinegared dishes, pickles, ankake dishes, pickled nanban vinegar.

By dissolving sugar and miso to make vinegar miso, you can bring out the elegant aroma of veingar and delicious taste of miso.

You can also try this as a dressing, use it with dashi soup, or with olive oil to create a Western style dressing.
